Well, we can put this in the: ‘things that make other things make sense’ file. Tonight on the Tucker Carlson show the Fox News host reveled that Republican House Leader Kevin McCarthy and DeceptiCon pollster Frank Luntz live together. WATCH:
.
That would explain why Kevin McCarthy puts Frank Luntz on the speaker podium at all the GOPe retreats and events; and why Luntz has such influence over the republican party apparatus…. UniParty gonna UniParty.
Kevin McCarthy will now offer up Liz Cheney as the sacrificial lamb to deflect this story. Liz will be in on it
What in the ever-loving eh-ee-el-el?!
I don’t like the sounds of what Tucker is suggesting. I’m not smitten by McCarthy but I sure will defend his married status. He may share an apartment in D.C. – I don’t know his lodging nor do I care – I care about what he is doing to further the cause of the American people and Constitution. When any of us stoop to using such tactics as Tucker is suggesting – we are no better than the foul opposition whose modus operandi is “smear, destroy the character”.
Agree.
Why worry about if he is sleeping with Luntz?
McCarthy has screwed Republicans over, gay or not.
He is a RINO, Kinder, Gentler, do nothing Bushie.
And for that alone he deserves our ridicule.
True. The real issue is that he is rooming with a pollster/lobbyist.
If he was rooming with another Congress critter, this is a non story. Schumer and Durbin shared a house with another congressman for years. DC housing is expensive.
Tucker was not suggesting McCarthy’s lifestyle, he was outing McCarthy for sharing a home with a lobbyist who doesn’t share our values. He shares the values of Big Tech who want to censor us all the time. McCarthy is a Rino through and through.
Yes, Luntz and McCarthy share the same values, in complete opposition to values if We The People.
Heifer methane, lacking the accoutrements to be Bull and the substance to be flushed. Charlie McCarthy has NO BUSINESS (unless it his personal business-financial fiddle or other)
in ANY kind of intimate relationship with Fake Frankie.
If he thought he wouldn’t get caught he is on the strong Stupid side of the Stupid and Arrogant Aristocrap Kingling matrix.
If he didn’t CARE if he got caught he’s strong Arrogance.
Either disqualifies him from membership in The Americans First Repopulist Party.
Tucker, (I saw the whole piece, you?) emphasized the semi-coverup weasel wording and the key question of financial ethics.
Those who choose to circle the wagons around Fake Frankie and Charlie McCarthy’s sexual proclivities say more about their own value hierarchy than Tucker’s supposed inferences left on the table to be drawn.
tucker carlson was not, for even a second, implying that frank and kevin were lovers. he was implying that the appearance of renting an expensive apartment at a so far unstated rate from a corporate lobbyist for companies opposed to the values of most republican voters is wrong for the senior house republican.
PRECISELY! Which begs the question WHY so many on this thread are, seemingly, determined to do two things that, by the facts you have succinctly pointed out, AND their OWN prima facie arguments, HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STORY!
1. WALL OFF (stonewall) any pondering about Charlie McCarthy’s degree of intimacy with the obviously light in the loafers Fake Frankie?
If they truly believe it doesn’t matter if Charlie is homosexual, why geek at pondering the possibility?
Why circle THAT particular wagon? What nerve is jerking that specific knee.
I always know what the AristoCommies fear when the BlueRentBoys counter-attack on that front.
My radar is alarming on this which makes me wonder how many “conservatives” here are of the ilk of Wee Willie Kisstool.
2. Why the need to throw shade on Tucker and pump up this conspiracy myth that “something else is going on.”
Two Swamp Reptiles got outed, I’m down widat.
The most interesting thing about the REACTIONS here and over on Breitbart is the zeroing in and circling the wagons around Fake Frankie and Charlie McCarthy’s sexual proclivities. Tucker didn’t, it’s a stretch to imply he left the inference on the table to be drawn.
At least here the reactors are smart enough to emphasize the utter inappropriateness, regardless.
On BbN it’s a full blown red alert with all Sorrisuckubi hands on deck.
Their reaction always tells me where the bomb-pipper needs to be.
Tucker has scared the dickens out of them with this.
Speaks volumes, as does the reactions here.
You couldn’t make this stuff up no matter how creative one’s imagination is.
Many House members share houses in Washington, DC, especially if they live a distance from DC and their families are back home. Especially for junior congress people it keeps costs low. Some of their ‘landlords’ are fellow or former lawmakers
It wasn’t unusual 40-50 years ago for members of different parties to be happy sharing the same house.
A quote from an article I found “: A few members of Congress have famously shared apartments and houses. Sen. Chuck Schumer used to sleep on a bed between the kitchen and living room of a rowhouse he shared with Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, former Rep. George Miller of California and others who came and went, the Times reported.
Oh, so it’s a temporary D.C. housing arrangement? (What’s the matter, the salaries aren’t high enough for two residences?) Still…bizarre. We’re not talking freshman legislators here…
Exactly. The GOP leader can afford an apt???
Is this like, “lives together” as if roommates in college, or some other kind of “lives together”? Bizarre.
Apparently it was a big secret until Tucker reported it. Interesting
Frank Luntz is anti-Trump, anti conservative. I’m so sick of the “swamp” and the collusion. Heads need to roll.
This Luntz dude is flush….his 6M mansion in California and these 4 penthouse apts in DC

Kevin McCarthy has been staying in Frank Luntz’s apartment amid COVID: report
May 4, 2021
Luntz owns four apartments in the swanky Penn Quarter building, all of which are on the penthouse floor. He conducted a major renovation to turn the four smaller units into a larger one.
The 59-year-old strategist was taken to task by Carlson last week on his namesake show over some of the corporate clients he now represents as founder of Luntz Global, including Amazon, Facebook, Google, Nike, The Coca-Cola Company, The Walt Disney Company, Delta Air Lines and more.
Many of those companies have opted to enter the political arena, taking “woke” stances on heated issues.
Luntz said in January of this year that he no longer identified as a Republican, after emerging as a critic of the GOP in the years after President Donald Trump took the helm of the party.
Asked about the living arrangement on “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning, McCarthy laughed off any suggestion that the arrangement created a conflict of interest, while noting that he had since gone back to staying at his office.
“I didn’t know how this was controversial. Frank has been a friend of mine for more than 30 years. I met him with Newt Gingrich back when they were working on the Contract with America,” he said, referring to Republican leadership of the 1990s that led an effort to take back the House of Representatives.
[…]
I rented a room from Frank for a couple months,”
McCarthy then said he planned to go back to staying “on my couch in my office.”
Pressed further on the matter, specifically whether it was inappropriate for the top Republican in the House to rent from such a prominent political figure, the California lawmaker said no.
“Well, Frank’s not a lobbyist,” McCarthy replied. “Frank’s a friend I knew 15 years before I ever got in [to politics].”

Beach friends. Hill friends. Same thing.
