More Trouble for Fani Willis As Whistleblower Dishes to House Committee, There May Be More Coming Forward

Fulton County, Georgia's District Attorney Fani Willis just seems to keep finding trouble.

Earlier this past week, we reported new information on the whistleblower who came forward alleging misuse of federal grant funds in Willis' office.

Whistleblower Amanda Timpson has said that when she informed Willis about the situation, she was subsequently terminated. In the past week, the DOJ said that they found "inconsistencies" and "reporting discrepancies" in Willis' use of the federal grant money.

"During our review of the award to respond to this inquiry, we have noticed some inconsistencies in what Fulton County has reported to [the Federal Subaward Reporting System] and we are working with them to update their reporting accordingly," a Justice Department spokeswoman told the Free Beacon on Friday.
The Justice Department did not provide any further details on the nature of Willis’s reporting "inconsistencies" on the $488,000 federal grant, which was earmarked for the creation of a Center for Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention in Atlanta. The grant ended in September 2023, but the center never opened.

Now, it gets even better.

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) said that the whistleblower is talking to the Committee and she was helping their probe into the alleged misuse of federal grant funds by Willis' office.

"God bless the whistleblower [who] came forward," Jordan said. "We've talked with the whistleblower, she's giving information to the press, to us. Now the Department of Justice is looking into this. All kinds of problems with Fani Willis and this ridiculous investigation she's run on President Trump and others," Jordan said to Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business Network.

Sounds like they may be getting some juicy stuff.

But there may be more.

Trump co-defendant Harrison Floyd said on the X platform that Timpson wasn't the only one talking:

"There are current employees talking, too. Hearings are going to be [fire emoji]."

If that's true, break out the popcorn because this could heat things up even more, and who knows what they could be exposing. Willis has to feel not at all happy about the situation. It's going to be harder to explain away when you have multiple people coming forward with things than if it's just one person. If the whistleblowers are talking to the Justice Department as well, you could get action from the DOJ as well as from the House probe.

Floyd and his attorney have also alleged that Willis may have violated the law by recording a phone call to another of Floyd's attorneys. That allegation is also hanging in the wind, and Floyd has talked about taking action against Willis.
