Rantingly is my full-time commitment, and I invest well over 40 hours a week to ensure its success. While I occasionally take on additional jobs to pay the bills—such as my recent painting gig in Baltimore—your donations allow me to prioritize Rantingly and enhance the quality of the site…It’s nice to have customers that don’t mind when you check your laptop after every ladder move.

Hello Rantingly Users, this is Nick, the guy that runs Rantingly.com
Rantingly is a one one-man-show-news-posting-fighting-machine. Every single one of the 150,000+ articles posted on this site over the last seven years has been posted by me. I do my best to keep the site updated 365 days a year, but I am a real human being and not a robot, so I usually take a couple days off a year due to illness, fun, the opposite of fun, or other life commitments.
I started Rantingly in August of 2017 as a REAL NEWS alternative to the Drudge Report. My goal has always been to present news without imposing editorial bias, allowing you to form your own opinions. Sometimes I do get fired up about a story and throw in an exclamation point, after all like I said before I am a human.
I, like many of you, was a daily user of the DR and noticed that it had gone completely mental. This particular headline posted in the Summer of 2017 was the day I bought the domain name Rantingly.com and decided to create the best news site in the world (at least according to my mom).
Unfortunately, even after a steady 7 year grind, Rantingly does not make enough money from ads alone to keep running. So about once a year I do a fundraiser to help keep Rantingly going. The last fundraiser I posted was in May of 2023.
