Qatar Committed To Deal With Iran And US On $6B In Iranian Funds

Qatari PM Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said on Friday that his country is committed to fulfilling an agreement with Iran and the US on $6 billion in Iranian funds parked in a Qatar bank, according to Reuters.

“Qatar is committed to an agreement and will fulfill its obligations and will not do anything without consultations with our partners,” Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani said during a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

On Thursday Rantingly posted an article based on a Washington Post report that the US was blocking Iran from accessing the $6B fund after the Hamas attack.

It appears “take backs” may not be possible after making a deal with terrorists.
