2023 Rantingly Fundraiser

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: As of Wednesday afternoon there have been over 150 donations. A sincere THANK YOU to everyone that has donated. I’m going to leave the fundraiser page as the headline for another day as there are still a steady amount of donations coming in. I’m also getting pretty close to my goal so any size donation would be very helpful. After I remove the fundraiser from the headline location I’ll place a link at the top of the page for a few days for anyone that may have liquidated their 401k or large stock holdings and are awaiting funds to clear. Your support will ensure that Rantingly is running all the way through the 2024 election and beyond. Thanks Again!

Hey everyone this is Nick, the guy that runs Rantingly.com. Rantingly is a one-man-operation news aggregator founded in August of 2017. No one else has ever posted an article on this site. I’m always humbled when I receive messages in my inbox that say things like, “you guys are doing a great job” or “tell your staff to get a dictionary”. There is no staff or team, it’s just me. Over 125,000 articles posted over the past 69 months and not one of them has been to the New York Times, Washington Post, or CNN.

As the 6-year anniversary of Rantingly approaches I’m reaching out to you, my 10,000 daily users, to help me keep this site going. Unfortunately the current revenue I’m making with ads doesn’t really justify me working on this site full-time. Running this site over the last 6 1/2 years hasn’t turned out to be the greatest financial life decision and my journey with Rantingly should probably be added to the curriculum at our nation’s top business schools, for all the wrong reasons.

The last fundraiser I did was back in 2020 and it made a huge difference in keeping the site alive.

I have a tentative goal in mind for this fundraiser and I will be holding the headline article hostage with this post until that tentative goal is reached. I’m hopeful that the goal can be achieved in about 24-48 hours. With over 10,000 daily users even small donations can go a long way.
